Highlander Expeditionary Tours, LLC hosts an annual backcountry trekking and camping event for wounded warriors at no cost to them. This event takes place annually in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.
The focus of our event is to provide wounded service members the opportunity to reconnect with outdoor activities they may once have enjoyed prior to their injuries. A secondary focus of the event is to promote the Wounded Warriors Project by raising public awareness with local media outlets and corporate entities. At this time we at Highlander Expeditionary Tours, LLC continue to seek energetic supporters that want to contribute to this very essential event.
