Take a step back in time as you walk past old homesteads and orchards from the years before this land was purchased by the National Park. After an early start base camp will be set at 29 and the remainder of the hike will be lighter to Mt. Guyot. You may not see many people on this trail to the AT as you enjoy virgin forest past the old settlements. Lunch will be peaceful at the top of Mt. Guyot and priceless pictures can be taken from the AT. A delicious mountain dinner and warm campfire will be on schedule for the evening.
